
Surakarta, April 17, 2025 — The Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), held its Internal Quality Audit (IQA) as part of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). The audit took place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Science Education Study Program, FKIP UNS.
The event was officially opened by the Head of the Science Education Study Program, Dr. Riezky Maya Probosari, S.Si., M.Si. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the importance of routine academic audits to ensure the quality and consistency of academic processes for both students and lecturers.
The audit was coordinated by the Quality Assurance Team (GKM) of the Science Education Study Program, led by Dr. Muhammad Nur Hudha, M.Pd., and assisted by Deputy Coordinator Dr. Novia, M.Pd. The auditing process was carried out by two experienced auditors from the English Education Study Program, FKIP UNS: Ms. Hefy Sulistyawati, S.S., M.Pd. and Ms. Dewi Sri Wahyuni, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The audit involved a thorough evaluation of academic documents, lecture implementation, faculty activities, and student engagement. This process aims to ensure compliance with national standards of higher education and support the achievement of a high-quality graduate profile.
According to Dr. Muhammad Nur Hudha, the internal audit is a strategic moment of reflection for continuous improvement. “This audit is not merely administrative; it is essential to evaluate the effectiveness of our academic processes and to drive ongoing enhancements for both teaching and learning,” he stated.
Through this audit, the Science Education Study Program reaffirms its strong commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance. The outcomes of the audit are expected to strengthen the program’s academic governance and contribute to FKIP UNS’s vision of becoming a leading faculty in education at the national and international levels.
