Surakarta, September 12, 2024 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) has officially inaugurated its new team of vice deans for the 2024-2029 term. Among the notable appointments is Dr. Paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, S.Pd., M.Si., M.Sc., who previously held the position of Head of the Undergraduate Science Education Program at FKIP UNS. She has now been appointed to the role of Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Research at FKIP UNS.
The inauguration ceremony was held at UNS Inn and was presided over by Prof. Hartono, Ph.D., Rector of UNS, in a solemn and formal setting. This event also saw the appointment of other officials, including vice deans from various faculties within UNS, thus completing the leadership team tasked with supporting the institution’s vision and mission towards attaining an international reputation.
In his address, Prof. Hartono, Ph.D., emphasized the importance of sustaining and fostering academic programs and innovations under the new leadership. “We hope that the newly appointed officials will continue to uphold the tradition of excellence at UNS by prioritizing the merit system, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation, particularly in the academic sphere,” stated Prof. Hartono, Ph.D., Rector of UNS.
Dr. Paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, S.Pd., M.Si., M.Sc., who is well-regarded for her significant contributions to the development of the Undergraduate Science Education Program, is expected to infuse a fresh dynamic to further enhance the quality of research and teaching at FKIP. “This mandate is a significant responsibility. I am committed to continuing academic innovation, particularly in elevating research-based learning and integrating technology to meet the demands of the digital era,” Dr. Nurma said in an interview following her inauguration.
In addition to Dr. Paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, S.Pd., M.Si., M.Sc., the following officials were also appointed as vice deans at FKIP:
- Dr. Yuyun Estriyanto, S.T., M.T., as Vice Dean for Non-Academic Affairs, and
- Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Si., as Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni.
