Surakarta, September 24, 2024 – The Science Education Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) is now officially led by Dr. Riezky Maya Probosari, S.Si., M.Si. Dr. Riezky Maya Probosari, S.Si., M.Si succeeds Dr. Paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, M.Si., M.Sc., completed her term as Head of the Program in the previous period. The handover ceremony was formally held at the FKIP UNS Meeting Room, attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff.

In her speech, Dr. Riezky Maya Probosari expressed her appreciation to Dr. Paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, M.Si., M.Sc. for her dedication and achievements during her tenure as Head of the Program. She also affirmed her commitment to continuing the program’s flagship initiatives and guiding the Science Education Program toward new milestones, particularly in the field of science and technology-based learning innovations.

“I am grateful for this trust. I hope that through collaboration among all academic community members, we can enhance the quality of teaching, research, and community service, so that the Science Education Program can contribute even more to education in Indonesia,” Dr. Riezky Maya stated in her speech.

Dr. Paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, M.Si., M.Sc. also expressed her gratitude to all her colleagues for their support during her tenure. She hopes that this new leadership transition will enable the Science Education Program to achieve an international reputation as mandated in the vision of UNS. With this new leadership, the Science Education Program at FKIP UNS is optimistic about continuing to be a center for developing knowledge, technology, and arts in teacher training, grounded in the noble values of national culture.
